Chest x- rays for students and practitioners with clinical tutorials PDF
Chest x- rays for students and practitioners with clinical tutorials ebook
The conception of this book is to present radiographs of core clinical conditions with their common radiological signs, in an easily accessible format geared towards medical students and practitioners.
In the clinical sense, if the human abdomen is compared to the proverbial Pandora’s box, then the thorax can certainly be equated with a “chest” of diseases. Housing two vital organs of the human body, viz. heart and lungs, examination of chest is indeed important in clinical practice. Radiographic analysis of chest serves as a critical tool of investigation towards diagnosis of chest diseases.
Beginning with the basic views of X-Ray chest – posteroanterior and lateral, this booklet unfolds a panorama of photographs of X-Rays, covering a range of important chest diseases commonly seen in clinics. Presented in a simple and elegant format, this booklet is intended to be a useful source of readily available information for easy reference. Sincere attempt has been made to deal with clinical application of the radiography, wherever required.
It is adequately illustrated with easy line diagrams which help in understanding and memorizing the radiological facts that usually defy memory of a common student as we consider that the visual image has an important facilitate role. Undue sophistication of the text is avoided for easy learning and understanding.
The book has own flavor, i hope students will like it. I would be grateful to the readers to improve the book and letting me know the errors of omission and commission in this mostly single handed attempt. Wishing every student every success.
